Steinbeis R-Tech is strongly interested in the fast application and the sustainability of innovative technologies. Towards this direction, R-Tech coordinates with DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) in the preparation of new standards, giving an advantage to the european and german innovations.

As an initiative of R-Tech, the activity of standardizing the EU approach in the area of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) has also lead to the CEN Workshop Agreement document 15740 (Risk based inspection and maintenance procedures for european industry - RIMAP).
